CATS SAVE began with a single baby cat rescued from the streets of Moldova. That one life opened our eyes to countless others suffering unseen.

After moving from Germany to Moldova with his Moldovan wife, our founder witnessed the severity of the street cat crisis firsthand. Out of love — and later, tragedy — came a promise: never look away again.

Today, that promise is a shelter caring for over 140 cats.
